Recently, the People's Government of Liaoning Province issued the "Decision of the People's Government of Liaoning Province on the 2022 Liaoning Science and Technology Awards" (Liao Zheng Fa [2023] No. 10), and the scientific and technological achievement of the Precision Metal Bellows Innovation Team of Shenyang Institute of Instrumentation won the first prize of the Liaoning Science and Technology Progress Award.

Fight against natural disasters with superior product quality

On December 18th, a magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck Jishishan County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province. This earthquake was strongly felt and had a significant impact on local residents and industrial production. Many civilian houses collapsed and some industrial facilities were damaged. After the earthquake, the local government and medical and health departments immediately activated the emergency response mechanism, dispatched rescue teams to the disaster area to carry out rescue work and mobilized medical personnel and supplies, making every effort to treat the injured. In this natural disaster, a certain high-voltage power transmission and transformation plant adopted the 1375 axial expansion joint product produced by our company, which demonstrated outstanding seismic performance. During the inspection of high-voltage transmission and transformation lines after the earthquake, it was found that the pipelines in the area equipped with the metal expansion joints produced by our company were not damaged. These metal expansion joint products remained in good condition during the earthquake. The ability of the expansion joints to resist seismic loads has been fully verified, and they have effectively played the role of absorbing seismic settlement and compensating for pipeline deformation.
